Does this property require a security deposit?

Yes, we ask for a security deposit of £750 for Foxhill Lodge. We’ll be in touch about 3 weeks before your stay with instructions on how to pay this. Alternatively, please contact the office on 01884 849127

What time can I arrive at the property?

The check in time for Foxhill Lodge is 4pm. Unfortunately It's not possible for you to arrive earlier than this as we'll be busy getting the house ready for your stay. If it looks like you might arrive in the area earlier than that, we’d suggest stopping off at one of the pubs on our Things To Do page, or having a browse round one of the towns, like Taunton, Honiton or Wellington.

How do I find the property?

You’ll find detailed directions provided in your ‘My Booking’ section on our website. We always recommend using these rather than Sat Nav as Sat Nav can sometimes take you past the turning for Foxhill Lodge. You can also use the app What3Words the location will bein the detailed directions. Be sure to pass these instructions to all members of your group!

How do I access the property on the day of my stay? 

You’ll be able to see all your check-in information about 21 days before the start date of your stay. To access this, log into the’ My Booking’ section of our website, using your booking reference number and your email address. You’ll find all the information you need there, including our contact details and instructions regarding the keys.

Can I have a food delivery to the property?

Yes, you can arrange to have a grocery delivery to the property for when you arrive or during your stay. It's important that delivery slots are made for after the arrival time of 4pm and that you are there to receive your order personally; remember that traffic isn’t always reliable and we’d hate you to miss your delivery. For that reason, we recommend that you make sure your name and contact number are on the delivery information. The following shops will deliver to this property: Asda, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, COOK Frozen Foods and Dart Fresh.

Can I charge my electric vehicle at the property?

Unfortunately not as there are no EV charging points at Foxhill Lodge. Due to insurance restrictions guests will not be able to use outdoor plugs or cables from the house to charge vehicles. We recommend researching the local area to find the nearest charging points - please see Electric Vehicle Charging At Our Holiday Houses.

We are thinking of inviting people over during our stay. Is this allowed?

Due to insurance /health and safety policies you cannot invite guests to Foxhill Lodge - this is clear in the Terms and Conditions that should be read when you book your stay. There is a maximum occupancy for each property and this cannot be exceeded, which is why we ask for details of each person who will be staying at Foxhill Lodge, including their names and ages. 

Are there any local pubs that we could stop at on the way to Foxhill Lodge, or visit during our stay?

Yes, certainly! You’ll find suggestions for local pubs and restaurants on the About page for Foxhill Lodge and on our Things To Do page.

What can we find supplied for us at Foxhill Lodge

There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for a dinner party. You'll find at least 2 toilet rolls per toilet. salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets (at least 6), tea towels, a dish cloth and scourer sponge, oven gloves, kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film, bin bags, hand soap, Welcome Packs of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. 2 hairdryers provided.

Bed linen, cot mattress sheets, bath robes (all guests aged 12 years +), bath towels and hand towels are supplied. Note that we don’t supply extra towels for use in the swimming pool and hot tub, so you’ll need to bring these yourself. We also recommend bringing suitable footwear for use in pool area – like flip-flops or crocs.

I would like to have a toddler bed or cot at the property do I need to bring my own?

We can provide one cot at Foxhill Lodge but note that you will need to request this on your booking. The full size cot can only stay in Bedroom 5 due to the size, if you require a cot in a different room we ask you to bring your own travel cot.

Are dogs allowed at this property?

We are very sorry, but pets are not allowed at Foxhill Lodge.

Are hen parties and stag parties allowed here? 

Due to planning restrictions we cannot allow hen parties or stag parties at Foxhill Lodge. 

Is there a BBQ at the property?

Yes, there’s a gas BBQ and a gas Ooni pizza oven on the patio. These are available from Easter until the end of October and gas is supplied. The BBQ lodge can be used year round; 1 bag of charcoal is provided, more can be purchased from the owners prior to your stay. All extra charcoal, kindling and logs must be pre-booked from the owners prior to your stay – please make sure this is done in advance.

Is there WiFi at the property?

Yes, there is WiFi at Foxhill Lodge. We always make guests aware that because the house is in a rural location, the speeds may not be as quick as you are used to. It might be an idea for you to download anything that you might need before your stay to avoid disappointment. 

Is there CCTV at Foxhill Lodge?

There is CCTV covering the outside area of Foxhill Lodge, also where the cars are parked near the pond.

Where is the swimming pool at Foxhill Lodge?

The pool is outdoors on the terrace; it measures 16ft by 32ft with a constant depth of 4.6ft. The pool is heated to approximately 28-30 degrees for use from Easter until the end of October. The pool, along with the breeze hut, is shared with the property owners but they only use it occasionally; it can be booked for exclusive use at an extra charge. 

How should I leave Foxhill Lodge at the end of my stay? What do I need to do?
