Blackdown Luxury Lettings is all about big houses for big holidays. Our gorgeous and well equipped large group holiday houses sleep 8-14 people and are set in rural locations in Devon, so you get peace and quiet, fresh air and far reaching country views throughout your stay. Our group accommodation is spacious and well equipped; interiors are modern and very comfortable, but most of all you'll find all those things that make a group stay just perfect - swimming pools, hot tubs, games rooms and for the children, play equipment.
That's why our big houses for big holidays are great for all kinds of holidays and short breaks in the West Country; it doesn't matter if you're getting together for a holiday with a couple of other families, a long overdue reunion of friends, a celebration with the people you love most in the world, or if it's a self catering corporate break; our holiday houses for groups suit all scenarios.
Our properties are often booked for hen and stag weekends, which is fine, that's definitely something to be celebrated. We don't encourage rowdiness by any means, more the refined, sophisticated gatherings, that's us. The kind of weekends were the men might go off for a spot of golf, clay pigeon shooting or go-karting; where the ladies might book up some in-house pampering or a cheeky life drawing class, or head off for a trip on a horse drawn barge along a picturesque canal. Soak in the hot tub, have a dip in the pool, hire caterers to come and cook for you, or to serve you canapes and champagne; enjoy yourselves, but keep it respectable.
Whoever you are, no matter why you come, you'll find so much to see and do with Blackdown Luxury Lettings. Explore the beautiful Blackdown Hills, a landscape of gentle rolling slopes, ancient commons and woodlands, and peaceful villages of centuries old thatched cottages and a welcoming pub where you can try the local brew. You'll find quiet market towns with independent shops and farmers markets, and a multitude of good places to eat from cafes and restaurants to cosy country inns.
