10/10 - We stayed here in March 2024 to celebrate my 40th birthday with family and friends. Everyone made good use of the pool and hot tub and there was so much for kids to enjoy from the trampoline, pool table, ping pong and outdoor slide; they were spoiled for choice. 10/10 - The house and grounds are superb and beautifully maintained. As a family of 6 adults, a toddler and baby we had a absolutely wonderful week, celebrating my 60th Birthday. The kitchen was amazing, lacking nothing. We arranged for a food shop to be delivered on arrival day, then cooked and enjoyed the majority of our meals at the kitchen table. The bedrooms are clean and the beds comfortable - we all slept very well. The pool hall is incredible, a superb heated pool and huge hot tub both of which provided many hours of fun and relaxation for my entire family. The weather was mixed but nevertheless we did manage to spend some time on the trampoline and my granddaughter loved the climbing frame and slide. Smith, September 2023

10/10 - Heron’s Bank is incredible. We felt completely spoilt. Really impressed with the attention to detail, and high spec features. All the bedrooms are super comfy, those with en-suites are of a high standard and include powerful rainfall showers! The images of the pool room do not do it justice, this is a great space and a huge room. We spent the majority of our holiday in here. The property, the grounds and equipment provided is all maintained to to a high standard. The BBQ lodge was great fun and a new experience for our group. 10/10 - We stayed 3 nights and didn't do any days out, simply enjoyed all the wonderful facilities as we did last June on our first visit as a whole family - 3 generations. Our grandchildren practically lived in the pool and loved the addition of the volleyball net!! We had a great time in the BBQ lodge on Saturday night on return from our meal out. Toasted marshmallows were a wonderful treat while we did a family quiz! The pool table and table tennis were also hits again, as was the trampoline. The grounds and views are lovely. The only way our experience could have been improved would have been if there was an en-suite accessible facility in the ground floor bedroom. Since our first visit my husband's Parksinson's and its related dementia symptoms have advanced and we could have managed better with such a facility. Davies, April 2022

It suited our three generation family down to the ground, with an indoor pool the children loved, play equipment in the beautiful garden and BBQ hut. 10/10 We stayed at the house as it was so lovely and there was plenty to do for us all. Use of the pool was the main focus for the younger ones! There were so many little extras which helped make the 3 night stay for our family post 75th birthday celebrations great for all generations: pool toys, robes and slippers , table tennis and pool, coffee machine, bbq lodge, trampoline, swings. 10/10 We celebrated my 65th Birthday and we were able to celebrate it in our family bubble, I couldn't fault anything about the property.. it was first class. We had a great weekend, the weather was good and we didn't leave the house to visit local pubs, restaurants etc. I was also impressed with the checking in and out arrangements, the staff were friendly and efficient. 10/10 We had such a great time at Herons Bank. The pool was used every day. The horses adjoining the garden were an added bonus for my nieces. Sky Sports and Movies on the TV in the lounge was great on the couple of days that we had bad weather. The beds were so comfy.
