Herons Bank is full of wow factor, modern and luxurious, with all the facilities you need; there’s underfloor heating throughout, and in the bedrooms, sumptuous thick pile carpets. The spa hall is a supersize WOW! This huge space has a heated pool and a hot tub, heaps of room for loungers, changing rooms, a separate shower cubicle, and even a ping-pong table that you can take outside on sunny days.
Go in through the porch at Herons Bank to a spacious hallway. Off to the left is a WC and kitchen; the kitchen is a great size, with a breakfast bar and a table, so it’s the perfect spot for an early morning natter over coffee, or if you have younger children, here’s the place to sit them up for tea. It’s so well equipped - two ovens, warming ovens, a five ring induction hob, combi oven, full height fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and even a built-in coffee maker. Convenience at your fingertips!
Beside the kitchen there’s a utility room with a washer and dryer, an extra fridge-freezer and another dishwasher. Step down from the kitchen to the dining room, a bright and airy space with a long chunky table that makes a wonderful setting for those big celebration feasts; on warm days open the patio doors to bring the sunshine in.
To the left of the dining room is the games room where you can unwind with a spot of snooker, put your feet up and watch that all-important match on the 50" screen, or step out into the garden for a breath of healthy fresh air.
The other side of the dining room is the living room, with plenty of big fat sofas where you can gather together for a movie night, bowls brimming with popcorn to share. The living room leads back round to the hall, and right next to it is Bedroom 5; has plenty of wardrobe space, so don’t worry if you don’t travel light! This room sleeps 5 people, in zip and link beds (superking or twins), two singles and a further pull-out single bed - a brilliant set up if your group is made up of a few families with young children, but equally good for friends and colleagues who are happy sharing.
Upstairs, off the wide landing are Bedrooms 1-4 and the family bathroom. Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom, with heaps of built-in storage space, and a snazzy en suite shower room. A fantastic feature of this room is the balcony; step out there first thing in the morning or take five to watch the sunset – absolute bliss! Bedroom 2 sleeps 3 in a super king and a single, or in 3 singles, and has an en suite shower room; Bedrooms 3 and 4 both have use of the main bathroom, which has a bath and separate shower.
The gardens are mostly to the back and sides of the house, with a play area and big lawns where the little ones can run around, and a south facing patio that runs the length of the house. On warmer days you can light the barbecue and dine in the open air, or catch the sunset with a drink on balmy evenings.
