In the lead up to Christmas & New Year we have some lovely ideas for days out and some last minute availability at our holiday homes.
November is here and we have had Bonfire Night...this means Christmas is just around the corner. We have brought together our top list of things to do in the local area before the big day & if you feel the need for a break before the big day, read on to hear about our limited availability.
First up is Enchantment at Langford Lakes, our local Christmas tree farm. Here they will take you on a journey – following an illuminated trail as it winds past dazzling lake displays and through their festive Christmas tree forest. Along the way, you’ll encounter a series of stunning sculptural installations, created by world renowned, multi international award-winning Somerset artist, Matthew Crabb. In our local city of Exeter, they are bringing back Winter Wonderland from the 22nd November!
Get ready to immerse yourself in the magic of the season at Exeter Winter Wonderland, featuring a brand new undercover bar and a sparkling new ice skating rink!

One of our local National Trust properties, Hestercombe Gardens is holding a Christmas market from the 15th - 17th November.
There are festive stalls bursting with beautiful locally-sourced gifts, delicious treats and unique hand-crafted items. They'll be selling festive food and drink including wonderfully crumbly mince pies, creamy hot chocolate, and homemade mulled wine. Visitors to the market will receive free admission to the gardens, house and contemporary art gallery – just show proof of your Christmas Market admission at the Visitor Reception desk.
