They are here at last! Our luxury shepherds huts with hot tubs are now place at the top of the field and we are eagerly awaiting our first guests. This is SO exciting! Our Dreamview Shepherds Huts in Devon have been handcrafted and kitted out to a very high spec and the icing on the cake – all 3 of them have their own private hot tub just outside the door.
We’re blessed with a stunning location for our luxury shepherds huts with hot tubs, something that we appreciate every day. Off the beaten track in the Blackdown Hills, the views stretch out for miles across an unspoilt landscape of woods and fields and hills and woods and fields and hills, on and on to meet the sky. Birds sing from the tree tops, the air is fresh and wholesome, and it’s so quiet here; no road noise, no constant hum of factories, no babble of crowds, it’s a proper country escape.
If the idea of glamping appeals then this is for you because inside, these luxury shepherds huts have been designed to give you every comfort we could think of. Like a Shaker style kitchen with an electric oven and grill, a 2 ring hob and a built-in fridge; and a lovely lounge area with comfy seating and a coffee table that converts for dining in a flash. There’s also a very stylish shower room and at night, a pull-down bed with a huge stargazer panel above it – how romantic is that!
At the moment we’re all plenty warm enough at night, but later in the year when it turns a little chilly there’s underfloor heating to keep you snug and toasty, and a wood-burner to warm your toes by. Outside of each shepherds hut there’s a private garden area with its own electric hot tub, a firepit with a grill for cooking on, and vintage style bistro furniture. Coffee in the sunshine by day, a soak beneath the cotton wool clouds; in the evening, cosy up in blankets, toast marshmallows, slip into the hut tub under a sky full of stars. This is where life slows down, where any tension quickly dissipates.
And do you know what? It’s so idyllic here that we’d quite happily bet our bottom dollar you won’t feel the need to go out anywhere. You might pop down to the nearest village for provisions and maybe you’ll be tempted to stop for a pub lunch while you’re there, or a stroll along the river, but we think you’ll be quite content just chillin’ at your luxury shepherds hut.
Take a little look; each one has been named after the trees that grow here in our little corner of the world, but whether you pick Sweet Chestnut, Silver Birch or Copper Beech, you’ll have such a relaxing time. They all sleep 2 adults so they’re great for a romantic retreat, but equally good if you’re 2 or 3 couples who want a few days away together where you all get your own space. They're also good for people who have booked one of our luxury large group holiday houses nearby and want to invite extra guests to join them.
