New from 4th Feb 2022 is The Cedars, a luxury Devon holiday house for large groups, set in a stunning location deep in the Blackdown Hills AONB. 5 en suite bedrooms sleep 10 guests and there’s room for 2 more at an extra charge each; outside there’s a private swim spa, Nordic style BBQ lodge and pizza oven (May 2022). From July 2022 there will be 2 shepherd’s huts available, both sleeping 2 adults, and a zip wire in the woodland garden.

The Cedars sleeps 10 guests in 5 en suite bedrooms and has room for 2 more people at an extra charge each; inside on the ground floor there’s a very spacious hallway, a huge kitchen/dining room that runs the whole length of the house, a large sitting room, utility room, and a bedroom with its own wet room; upstairs are 4 more bedrooms, 3 with en suite shower rooms and 1 with an en suite bathroom. Outside is a large garden with a wrap around terrace where there’s a swim spa, barbecue and pizza oven (May 2022). Just a few steps away there’s a cosy Nordic style BBQ lodge where you can all gather together beneath the twinkly lights whatever the weather’s doing.
What’s great about this luxury Devon holiday house for large groups is that it’s south facing so when the sun has come out to play you can pull back the huge bifold doors and let outdoors and indoors merge together. Step out onto the terrace and soak up the rays, get the sausages sizzling, slip into the swim spa; it’s all yours for the whole of your stay. The Cedars was designed especially for big happy times, for getting together with a group of your favourite people, heading out to the country to relax and unwind in style. The house is light and airy throughout and there’s heaps of room to be sociable; interiors are contemporary-modern with high end fixtures and fittings. The bespoke kitchen was handmade by a local company, most appliances are by Neff, there’s a Kaelo wine cooler and 2 Capel wine cabinets; the dining table is a real statement piece, of marble with a stainless steel inlay, made especially for The Cedars.
Sofas are from Laura Ashley, big and sumptuous; there’s a contemporary wood-burner and a whopper of a TV, so you can all get snuggly for family movie nights or to watch the latest big match. Bedrooms all have luxurious Wilton carpets, wall lights and bedside lamps are from Tom Raffield (Grand Designs), and the snazzy en suite bathrooms and shower rooms are from Villeroy & Boch. It’s all so lavish! Beds are ultra-comfy so you’ll all sleep well, and they’re all zip and link so you can have them arranged as super kings or twins – it’s entirely up to you.
