The Ivy Clifton Brasserie, Clifton, Bristol
What you get at The Ivy Clifton Brasserie in the heart of Clifton Village in Bristol is relaxed and refined all day dining whether you’re eating in the restaurant, bar, orangery or attending an event in one of the private dining rooms. It’s lovely because it feels so wonderfully polite; the décor has a touch of vintage, the staff are all very well versed and the rooms have such a lovely feel.
You can go for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, cocktails and dinner. A little peek at the A La Carte Menu reveals very tempting main dishes; Blackened Cod Fillet (baked in a banana leaf with a soy marinade, citrus pickled fennel, grilled broccoli, chilli and yuzu mayonnaise), The Ivy Rabbit and Langoustine Pie (Parisienne carrots with a tarragon cream sauce, watercress and a puff pastry crust), and for the non-carnivorous, Baked Miso Aubergine (cracked durum wheat, cauliflower, red pepper, raisins, flaked almonds, coconut yoghurt and rocket). There’s more on the Roasts and Grill section including the ever popular Ivy Hamburger (chargrilled in a Brioche bun with mayonnaise, horseradish, ketchup, and Ivy cut chips).
