Homely vibes and a cosy atmosphere are on the cards at The Gloucester Road Ale House & Kitchen, set at the heart of the vibrant Gloucester Road community in Bristol.
There’s a choice of craft ales on cask so you can try something you might not otherwise come across easily, and food is their own take on British pub favourites made using the freshest seasonal ingredients they can get their hands on from the local area. We’re talking burgers – for the meat eaters The Cheeseburger (two aged beef 4oz patties, Westcombe smoked cheddar, tomato relish, lettuce and onion, in a pretzel bun with skin on fries and house slaw) and for the vegetarians, Peri Peri & Pea Bean Burger (Peri Peri chickpea and bean burger, vegan chipotle mayo, in a pretzel bun with house slaw and fries). Or you can have Fish & Chips (beer battered cod, thick cut chips, burnt lemon, crushed peas and tartare sauce), Pie (slow cooked beef shin and mushroom pie, garlic mash, seasonal greens and red wine jus), or Steak (10oz Bavette steak, thick cut chips, caramalised onions and homemade Bearnaise sauce). Pub grub done good.
