No 4 Clifton Village, Bristol, Somerset

No 4 Clifton Village is an award-winning restaurant in the heart of elegant Clifton Village in Bristol, all good reason to go there. The setting is a gorgeous Georgian mansion, there’s an AA rosette restaurant, a cosy wine bar and a secluded walled garden. The A La Carte menu changes with the seasons so you know that whatever you choose to eat it’s going to be made with the freshest locally sourced ingredients, and a whole lot of passion.

On the menu are mains of Homemade Wholemeal Tagliatelle (with artichoke sauce, Taggiasca olives and Jerusalem artichoke crisps), Stone Bass Fillet (with samphire and a parsnip and curry sauce) and 8oz Ruby and White sirloin (with homemade triple cut chips, rocket salad and sundried tomatoes). Desserts sound divine – Homemade Profiteroles, Triple Chocolate Mousse and Nutella Cheesecake and if you’re a fan of afternoon tea you’re in for a treat so the decent thing to do would be to accompany it with Hendrick’s Gin or Da Luca Prosecco.
