Keepers Cottage, Kentisbeare, Cullompton, Devon

You can’t miss Keeper's Cottage, it's a pretty little pub, on the road between Honiton and Cullompton in Devon. From the outside you could be forgiven for thinking you’d just rocked up at someone’s house because it all looks so homely and inviting - whitewashed walls, a thatched roof, roses climbing up the walls.

Inside is typical of a traditional country pub – thick stone walls, beams and a log fire to keep you nice and toasty in the winter. The food is pub fare, with all the favourites like Local butcher’s beef burger, Whole trout, fish and chips, steaks, and for the veggies, mushroom stroganoff, all homemade using the abundance of local produce to be found in this neck of the woods. It’s very much a no fuss, no frills, kind of place that serves honest tucker and welcomes all, including our four legged friends.
