Culm Valley Inn, Culmstock, Cullompton, Devon

Get yourself a big piece of Devon life at the Culm Valley Inn, a lovely pub, down by the bridge in the quiet village of Culmstock where the River Culm merrily winds it’s way through this part of the Blackdown Hills AONB. Fresh seasonal ingredients from local farms, butchers and fishmongers are put to excellent use in the hearty homemade fare they serve, there’s plenty of country character and locals and visitors are all greeted with a smile.

Mains include scrumptious temptations like Lamb shank, sweet potato mash with a red wine and rosemary jus, Herb crusted venison, Salmon Crevette and a Classic Culm Valley Burger.  Go and warm up by the fire after a wintery walk to Culm Beacon and back. There’s nothing not to like about this place.
