From early July 2022 4 more adults can stay in two shepherd's huts at an extra charge. This beautiful contemporary house has a peaceful setting with south facing gardens and incredible views that stretch for miles across the Devon countryside.
We are doing a big happy dance today because we are over the moon to add The Cedars to our collection of luxury large group accommodation in the West Country. This stunning holiday home for up to 12 with a swim spa is available from Easter 2022 and is the perfect place to stay for big family holidays, for hen weekends and self catering corporate stays, and for those wonderful family celebrations like significant birthdays and anniversaries. It's a place for families and friends to get together and relax completely, with all you need at hand and in beautiful surroundings. Think of it as a world of your own, far, far away from the push and shove of life; peace and quiet, birdsong, views that roll on and on forever.
The Cedars is spacious, filled with light and contemporary in style inside and out. Five en suite bedrooms sleep 10 in zip and link beds that can be arranged as a superking or twins, and two have room for an extra guest in a pull out truckle bed. That makes great sleeping arrangements for a family, for three friends sharing, or for three older children - imagine the giggles! There's a huge sociable kitchen/dining room with a big table for celebrations feasts, and a commodious sitting room; both have doors that open onto the terrace where there's plenty of outdoor furniture and a gas barbecue.
All yours to enjoy is a swim spa, so you can see why The Cedars is the ideal holiday house for any large group - all ages will be happy here. The garden faces south so you won't miss out on the sunshine and just a short walk away there's a BBQ lodge that you can use whatever the weather's doing - though bear in mind that this must be booked in advance. Wander up to the pond, have a little row around in the boat, try your hand at fishing, while away the hours with a lazy picnic on the bank - make it a good old fashioned one, with sausage rolls, crustless sarnies, hard boiled eggs and of course, lashings of lemonade!
And it gets better! From July 2nd 2022 you can book the shepherd's huts! There are two of them, each sleeping 2 adults and these are available at an extra charge; they're lovely and cosy, a wonderful place to snuggle down for a restful night's sleep. We think you'll be so content at The Cedars that you won't think it necessary to go out anywhere; stock up with local goodies or get a grocery delivery and hunker down in happiness; you can even hire private chefs to come and cater for you - something that's very popular for those important celebrations. If you do venture out you'll find country pubs nearby, full of charm with a warm welcome, and it's not far to family attractions like Wildwood Escot, Crealy Theme Park and The Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth; and that's another thing - it's only half an hour or so to the beaches of the Jurassic Coast so if you fancy a day at the seaside, off you go.
