We The Curious, Bristol, Somerset

On the historic harbourside in Bristol is We The Curious, an exciting science centre and educational charity that is definitely not just for geeks.

Those with a curious mind can delve deep into some seriously big questions in Project What If; explore the science of happiness and the nature of time, play at being invisible, broadcast a message into space, see inside the Tardis. There are plenty of hands on activities for all ages and something that just HAS to be seen is the Daily Planetarium Show where you can travel across the solar system in a 3D planetarium and see Saturn’s Rings, Jupiter’s Great Red Spot and the tail of Halley’s Comet – incredible stuff!

A visit to We The Curious is inspiring, thought provoking and wondrous, and it’s fun so it’s a good place to visit for a family day out when you’re on your large group holidays in the West Country. Make a day of it, learn a lot; buy a momento of your visit from the Gift Shop and have lunch in the café or tuck into your hefty homemade sarnies in the picnic area.
