If you come over all peckish when you’re browsing around in Wellington, give the Green Dragon a go. The décor is relaxed and rustic pub style, the service is friendly and they like to make everyone feel welcome whether they’ve just popped in for a pint of the local brew or brought the whole family for lunch.
Don’t expect fine dining or anything like it – this is a pub and what you get here is pub food, all the classics like Beer battered cod & chips, Ham, egg & chips, steaks and burgers, and they also do dishes with influences from around the world – Chinese style pork rice, Red Thai curry and homemade Jambalaya. Got to be worth a try.
