Ducky’s Beach Café, Beer, Devon
Go down to the beach at Beer on the Devon coast and you’ll see Ducky’s Beach Café, all set up with tables and chairs and red and white sunshades. It’s a lovely place to stop for a leisurely breakfast, a crab sandwich with a bowl of chips, or a cream tea; you can sit and watch the comings and goings, all the folk relaxed and happy, families playing on the shore or rockpooling when the tide is out.
Testament to its popularity is the fact that Ducky’s Beach Café is frequented by locals and visitors alike, there’s plenty of chatter and smiles, the service is friendly and do you know what? They even serve tea and coffee in proper china cups and saucers. Nice.
