We’ve put together some Frequently Asked Questions that might be useful when planning your stay:
Does this property require a security deposit?
Yes, we ask for a security deposit of £500 for Foxhill Lodge. We’ll be in touch about 3 weeks before your stay with instructions on how to pay this. Alternatively, please contact the office on 01884 849127
What time can I arrive at the property?
The check in time for Foxhill Lodge is 4pm. Unfortunately It's not possible for you to arrive earlier than this as we'll be busy getting the house ready for your stay. If it looks like you might arrive in the area earlier than that, we’d suggest stopping off at one of the pubs on our Things To Do page, or having a browse round one of the towns, like Taunton, Honiton or Wellington.
How do I find the property?
You’ll find detailed directions provided in your ‘My Booking’ section on our website. We always recommend using these rather than Sat Nav as Sat Nav can sometimes take you past the turning for Foxhill Lodge. Be sure to pass these instructions to all members of your group!
How do I access the property on the day of my stay?
You’ll be able to see all your check-in information about 21 days before the start date of your stay. To access this, log into the’ My Booking’ section of our website, using your booking reference number and your email address. You’ll find all the information you need there, including our contact details and instructions regarding the keys.
Can I have a food delivery to the property?
Yes, you can arrange to have a grocery delivery to the property for when you arrive or during your stay. It's important that delivery slots are made for after the arrival time of 4pm and that you are there to receive your order personally; remember that traffic isn’t always reliable and we’d hate you to miss your delivery. For that reason, we recommend that you make sure your name and contact number are on the delivery information. The following shops will deliver to this property: Asda, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, COOK Frozen Foods and Dart Fresh.
Can I charge my electric vehicle at the property?
Unfortunately not as there are no EV charging points at The Cedars. Due to insurance restrictions guests will not be able to use outdoor plugs or cables from the house to charge vehicles. We recommend researching the local area to find the nearest charging points - please see Electric Vehicle Charging At Our Holiday Houses.
We are thinking of inviting people over during our stay. Is this allowed?
Due to insurance /health and safety policies you cannot invite guests to Foxhill Lodge - this is clear in the Terms and Conditions that should be read when you book your stay. There is a maximum occupancy for each property and this cannot be exceeded, which is why we ask for details of each person who will be staying at The Cedars, including their names and ages. You can accommodate extra guests for a minimum of 2 nights in our Dreamview Shepherds Huts (charged) - they get their own space but can still join in the fun at Foxhill Lodge - see Silver Birch, Copper Beech and Sweet Chestnut.

Yes, certainly! You’ll find suggestions for local pubs and restaurants on the About page for Foxhill Lodge and on our Things To Do page.
