Booking a holiday can be a tricky business, especially if you are a large group.  If you are holidaying with different generations in the family, it can be difficult to please everyone.  You may have small children, teenagers and elderly parents to consider, as well as yourselves.  A self-catering holiday can provide the answer.

Booking a holiday can be a tricky business, especially if you are a large group.  If you are holidaying with different generations in the family, it can be difficult to please everyone.  You may have small children, teenagers and elderly parents to consider, as well as yourselves.  A self-catering holiday can provide the answer.

We have stunning spacious houses set in beautiful countryside locations in Devon, Somerset, Dumfries and Galloway.  The living and dining areas are big enough to accommodate large families, without feeling like you’re on top of one another, enabling you to socialise together as well as having a little down time on your own if you want to.

We can provide cots, high chairs and stair gates for babies and toddlers, so that you don’t have to bring your own.  Our houses are all a home from home, making holidaying with little ones less stressful.  Young children can be put to bed at a reasonable time, leaving the adults free to enjoy the evenings.

Our gardens all have plenty of space for children to run around in, with outdoor play equipment.  So you can relax with a glass of wine admiring the view, whilst the kids have fun.  We have indoor swimming pools, outdoor pools and hot tubs too.  We also have pool tables, air hockey and table tennis if the weather is inclement.

Staying in one of our luxury properties gives you the freedom to do as you please.  You don’t have to fit around restaurant times as our fully equipped kitchens mean you can eat when you like.  You can cater for all tastes, fussy eaters and anyone with food allergies and you can share the cooking.  If you want a late breakfast or midnight feast, no problem because the kitchen is never closed. Often our guests will organise an online supermarket shop to be delivered when they arrive at the property.

All our properties are ideally placed for local attractions, activities and days out, as well as great pubs and restaurants should you wish to eat out.  You’ll have plenty of privacy and no noisy neighbours.

Best of all, self-catering means you can share the cost.  Our prices are for the whole house, not per head, so if yours is a large group, it’s often cheaper per person than a basic bed and breakfast.

All our houses are beautifully finished to a high standard and are well equipped with everything you could need to make you feel at home, whilst adding that little bit of luxury to your holiday.  That’s why our guests come back again and again!
